Privacy Policy — Police Case Diary
Developer: nilhsA Thomas
App: Police Case Diary
1. Introduction
Police Case Diary is a personal data-entry application used for maintaining case details, hearings, notes, attachments, and reports. This app does NOT automatically collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data to any external server. All data stays 100% offline on your device unless you choose to export or back up manually.
2. Data We Collect
The app does NOT automatically collect any data. Only the information you manually enter (case numbers, names, dates, notes, attachments) is stored locally on your device.
3. How Data Is Stored
All case data, attachments, and notes are stored only on your phone's internal storage using a local database. We do not access, read, or share your data by default.
4. Google Drive Backup (Optional)
You may choose to back up your case data to your own Google Drive. If enabled:
- Google Drive API is used only to upload/download files to your own Drive account.
- No data is sent to the developer or any third-party server beyond Google Drive.
- You can revoke access anytime from your Google Account > Security > Third-party access.
5. Google Calendar Integration (Optional)
If you enable hearing reminders, the app can add events to your Google Calendar (your own calendar only). The app does not send data to external servers beyond your calendar.
6. Third-Party Services
The app optionally uses the following Google APIs (when you enable features):
- Google Drive API (for backups)
- Google Calendar API (for hearing reminders)
- Google Sign-In (OAuth)
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy; enabling any integration subjects that action to the provider's policy.
7. Children’s Privacy
This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Data Sharing
We never:
- Share personal data with third parties
- Sell or trade user data
- Store your case data on developer-controlled servers
All data stays local unless you explicitly export or back up.
9. Data Deletion
You can delete all app data by clearing the app data from Android settings, uninstalling the app, or deleting backup files from your Google Drive if you uploaded any.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Major changes will be indicated in the app and on this page.
